PLYMOUTH POLICE K-9 UNIT

The Plymouth Police K-9 Unit was deactivated approximately 20 years ago, but under the leadership of Chief Botieri, it was re-instituted in the spring of 2010.

 

 

 

   

Our two K9 Officers:

K-9 Patrol Officer M. Higgins and his assigned K-9 "Shirley," a 'rescued' Yellow Labrador Retriever is certified in both Narcotics Detection as well as Passive Human Odor Detection, have been on patrol since 2010.

DSCF1879M_318_783981478.jpgK-9 Patrol Officer Lebretton and his assigned K-9 "Kaiser," a donated German Shepard who is a certfified "Patrol Dog," have just recently joined the Department.

Both officers and their partners are currently assigned to the Patrol Division.
