All telephone and radio calls are received in our State-of-the-Art Dispatch Center.
All telephone and radio calls are received in our Dispatch Center. Dispatchers use telephones, radios and computer systems to provide information to the public as well as officers in response to calls for service.
Our dispatch center is equipped with positions for up to four dispatchers.
Located on the main wall of the Dispatch Center is a state of the art Widescreen Plasma monitor displaying a map of the town along with real time positions of our police cruisers on the road.
To the left of each dispatcher is a telephone console for regular calls, and to their right are the consoles for the Enhanced 911 system. The dispatch center also has closed circuit monitors that watch surveillance cameras both inside and outside the station.
