From time to time, the Plymouth Police Department may post notices on this page with helpful information for our citizen's and visitors. These notices may include changes in traffic patterns, road closures, and parking restrictions during major events as well as other information useful to our citizen's such as actions you should take and shelter locations during storms. Thanksgiving Parade 2016

THANKSGIVING PARADE

Saturday November 19, 2016

The annual Thanksgiving Parade will be held on Saturday November 19, 2016.  The parade will form up on Court Street between Plimoth Plaza and Robbins Road and step off promptly at 11:00AM.  The parade will proceed with no stops down Court Street, to Main Street, and Main Street Extension, then to Water Street where it will end at the bottom of Cole’s Hill.

There will be activities prior to as well as following the parade.  For this reason Water Street will be closed with NO PARKING between Brewster and Union Streets.  Water Street will be closed at these locations starting at 7:00AM and remain closed until 4:00PM unless needs or conditions dictate otherwise.

There also will be parking restrictions on Court Street, Main Street, and Main Street Extension beginning at 7:00AM until the parades end.  There will be NO PARKING on both sides of these streets from Water Street to Samoset Street and NO PARKING on both sides of Court Street between Samoset Street and Lothrop Street.  In addition there will be NO PARKING permitted on Carver Street and Lincoln Street as well as restrictions on Allerton Street, Vernon Street, Russell Street, and Summer Street.
