PRESS RELEASE

Saturday November 23, 2019

The annual Thanksgiving Parade will be held on Saturday November 23, 2019.  The parade will form up on Court Street between Plimoth Plaza and Robbins Road and step off at 11:00AM.  The parade will proceed with no stops south on Court Street, to Main Street, and Main Street Extension, then to Water Street where it will end at the bottom of Cole’s Hill.

There will be activities prior to as well as following the parade.  For this reason, Water Street will be closed with NO PARKING between Brewster and Union Streets beginning at 7:00AM and will remain closed until 7:00 PM unless needs or conditions dictate otherwise.

There will be further parking restrictions on Court Street, Main Street, and Main Street Extension beginning at 7:00 AM until the parades end.  There will be NO PARKING on both sides of these streets from Water Street to Samoset Street and NO PARKING on both sides of Court Street between Samoset Street and Lothrop Street.  In addition, there will be NO PARKING permitted on Carver Street and Lincoln Street as well as restrictions on Allerton Street, Vernon Street, Russell Street, So. Russell Street, and Summer Street.

Parking within Stephen’s Field will be limited to the dirt section between the tennis courts and the ball field.

No public parking will be permitted at Nathaniel Morton Elementary School.

ALL VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO A FINE AND TOWING

GATRA is providing a shuttle service this year to all visitors from 8:00AM to 4:30PM.  They will run from the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds and District Court Parking Lots (50 & 52 Obery Street) to Lincoln Street.
