K-9 Max and Officer Welch

The Plymouth Police Department and K-9 handler Officer Welch would like to introduce the newest Member of the department, K-9 Max! He is an 8 month old energetic and friendly lab, currently in training for Friendly Finds and Drug Searches.

Traffic Restrictions and Street Closures for Plymouth Winterfest 2017

The first annual Plymouth Winterfest will take place on December 30, 2017 along Main and Court Streets from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The event includes activities at Memorial Hall, street performers, and a laser light show.

Traffic Restrictions and Street Closures for Tree Lighting/Winter Lights 5K Road Race

November 27, 2017

The annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on December 1, 2017 at Town Square followed by the Winter Lights 5K Road Race. The race starts on Court Street at South Russell Street and proceeds northbound to right on Nelson Street to south on Water Street.

Thanksgiving Parade 2017

The annual Thanksgiving Parade will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017. The parade will form up on Court Street between Plimoth Plaza and Robbins Road and step off at 11:00AM. The parade will proceed with no stops south on Court Street, to Main Street, and Main Street Extension, then to Water Street where it will end at the bottom of Cole’s Hill.

Plymouth Police Go Pink For October #Pink Patch Project

The Plymouth Police Department is pleased to announce the official launch of the Pink Patch Project during the month of October, 2017. The Pink Patch Project is a collaborative public awareness campaign, in partnership with more than 150 (as of September 2017) public safety agencies nationwide. Its goals are designed to increase education about the importance of early detection and prevention in fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease.

Thanksgiving Day Parade 2017

The parade is ranked the #1 Thanksgiving parade in the nation by AOL. It features beautifully decorated floats, nationally recognized Drum and Bugle Corps, re-enactment units from every period of American history and military marching units.
