Follow the steps below to apply for your Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms (LTC) or Firearms Identification (FID) Card.
You must complete and pass a Massachusetts approved Basic Firearms Safety Course before you can apply.
Create an account and fill out your application. You will be asked to upload your completed firearms safety certificate during the application process.
After submitting your application, you must schedule an appointment for your interview and fingerprinting.
Pay online using UNIPAY or bring a money order for $100 made payable to The Town of Plymouth to your appointment.
(We do not accept cash or credit/debit cards in the office.)
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled and you may be required to reschedule.
